Job Description
- Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems
- To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
- To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
- To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
- To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
- To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Registered with IES/ ACES as a Resident Technical
- Minimum 5 years of M&E work experience with strong knowledge of local construction practices air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, security systems, BMS, plumbing, sanitary and gas services
