Position Title: Accountant
Job Summary: To be responsible for managing financial information, maintain financial records, prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. You will work closely with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of information
• Prepare full set of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Help to manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
• Prepare tax returns (GST) and other statutory filings
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Liaise with external auditor, tax agent and authorities
• Handle other ad-hoc financial and accounting tasks as required
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting regulations and standards
• Proficient in accounting software such as MYOB advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
