Drive implementation of Digital Transformation initiatives and adoption of detailed solutions
- Drive cross functional team of stakeholders to implement Digital Transformation Initiatives to realize the benefits for Singtel Enterprise Business
- Enable definition of detailed solution across different business functions.
- Work with business units to develop guidelines and SOP for various job functions such as order raising and settlement, asset tracking framework etc.
- Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of the proposed solutions
- Able to lead and support agile projects teams towards results within time constraints (e.g. three-four months) in cooperation with project Business Owners, Users, Product Owners and IT Development Leads.
- Able to drive daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos and retrospective meetings (e.g. in Discovery & Design phases of projects).
- Able to define and scope minimal viable products within the development phase.
- Drive coordination and collaboration between functions; manage conflict as they arise
- Drive alignment on end-state model
- Implement and drive the adoption of the solution across the stakeholders and functions
- Identify risks, potential roadblocks and issues; drive resolution with relevant stakeholders and functions
- Escalate issues and roadblocks as required to Project Lead
- Guide junior team members in project scoping and implementation
- Prepare management reporting materials on progress of projects
- Use tools such as Python and Tableau to develop and showcase benefits
Product Owner role for key strategic projects
- Drive the Product Owner role digital projects.
- Define the functional requirements for these projects
- Drive prioritization of features in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT to ensure services are implemented in accordance to requirement
- Ensure UATs are conducted timely and accurately and drive user adoption
Team lead role mentoring team members
- Have team members reporting to Associate Director
- Responsible to mentor and guide team members
- Ensure engagement of team members is high
Support documentation of detailed solutions and formalisation of communication documents
- Document end-state and interim solution based on agreed implementation timeline
- Documentation to include proposed solution, operational implications and next steps, and any required mitigations
- Update documentation to include potential corrective measures brought to the processes/operation during the sustain phase
Support data collection and analysis during solution implementation
- Drive data collection and collation of fact base for proposed solutions
- Conduct analysis to support definition of solution (including resolution of issues and roadblocks); document findings and recommendation from analysis
- Optimize processes through LEAN Six Sigma and ensure quality assurance of suggested process and solution
- Monitor solution and process/operation performance and propose corrective actions as required
Drive achievement of the business case benefits during project implementation
- Monitor the deliverables of operational metrics; recommend optimisation after analysing the process/operation against targets
- Develop and recommend the strategy for process/operation improvements based on results – improvement initiatives (systems, processes, etc)
- Ensure the team meets targets Transformation Benefits and Operational Metrics
- Review and approve any changes requested by line
- Responsible for communication of changes to line
- Perform impact and risk assessment of any changes on BU processes/operations and advise owners on next course of action
Drive quality assurance for strategic customer deals
- Use Lean Six Sigma or other industry quality standards to drive quality assurance for strategic customer’s deals
- Focus on the end-to-end customer lifecycle and identify risks and work with stakeholders to mitigate the risks. Ensure we are aligned with what customer wants.
Skills for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in business/technology/digital leadership
- Minimum 8 years of digital transformation project management skills
- Well versed in Scrum
- Experienced in Process optimisation with LEAN Six Sigma
- Certified Lean Six Sigma, highly preferred Lean Six Sigma black belt
- Proven ability to deliver digital transformations in large corporations with complex IT legacy systems
- Good to have AI/ML Data Science experience
