We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage our warehouse operations and lead our team to ensure efficient and accurate handling of inventory.
Job Summary:The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. This role is crucial in ensuring that the warehouse operates smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff. Schedule shifts, delegate tasks, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts, and manage inventory replenishment. Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including the inspection of incoming goods, coordination of outbound shipments, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse is organized and operational. Optimize storage layouts, manage space utilization, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and improve warehouse processes to enhance productivity and efficiency. Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and other relevant data. Prepare and review reports for management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision. Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and safety regulations. Familiarity with warehouse management software and equipment.
