Job Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Research:Conduct market research to identify upcoming tender opportunities.
Analyze competitor bids to benchmark and improve future submissions.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, government regulations, and changes in the bidding process.
- Tender Preparation and Submission:Prepare bidding documents in accordance with specifications and requirements.
Review the bid documents and make sure all the necessary documents are included.
Submit tenders on time and in the prescribed format.
- Coordination & Communication:Liaise with internal departments (e.g., management, operations, procurement) to gather the necessary information for bidding.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to clarify bid requirements and follow up on bid status.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain relevant quotes and information.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensure that all tender documents comply with relevant regulations, standards and guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of all tender documents and communications.
Bids are thoroughly reviewed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reports & Documents:Prepare regular reports on bidding activities, including success rates and feedback.
Document the lessons learned from each bid to improve future submissions.
Maintain a database of past and present bids for reference.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in government or semi-government enterprises and commercial project tendering.
- In-depth understanding of the tendering process, regulations and requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with e-tendering platforms.
- Knowledge of the legal aspects of contract management and tendering.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
