Job Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Supplier Management:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and deliverability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent supply.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure a favorable deal.
- Procurement Process Management:Ensure timely and accurate delivery of purchased items.
Assist operations in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and purchase orders for materials and services.
Coordinate with the head of the sales department and the inventory management team to avoid shortages.
- Transport & Logistics Coordination:Coordinate maritime logistics to ensure efficient transportation of materials and products.
Monitor the shipment and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
Maintain records of transportation activities and ensure compliance.
- Cost Management:Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Quality assurance:Ensure that all procurement items meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
Evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Documents & Reports:Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
Prepare regular reports on procurement status and performance indicators.
Ensure that all documents are in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement
- Learn about the transportation and logistics process
- Knowledge of contract management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail, punctuality and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
