Job Summary:
The Digital Product Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of mobile game development, from initial concept through development, launch, and ongoing maintenance. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and analysts, to ensure the delivery of top-notch mobile gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Planning:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for mobile games.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions
Development Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the entire game development process, from concept and design to coding, testing, and launch.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality games.
- Coordinate with UX/UI designers to create engaging and user-friendly game interfaces.
Operations and Maintenance:
- Monitor game performance and user feedback to identify and address issues.
- Plan and execute regular updates, feature enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of mobile games.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with marketing and user acquisition teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Work with analytics teams to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with customer support to resolve user issues and improve the overall gaming experience.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders to refine product features and strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage product budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Identify and mitigate risks to product development and delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in product management, with a focus on mobile game development and operations.
- Have a good command of the Chinese language as need to converse and interact with the Chinese market in China, Hong Kong and Macao
- Proven track record of successfully managing the lifecycle of mobile games.
- Strong understanding of mobile game design, development, and monetization strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
