Digital Product Manager

Job Summary:


The Digital Product Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of mobile game development, from initial concept through development, launch, and ongoing maintenance. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and analysts, to ensure the delivery of top-notch mobile gaming experiences.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Strategy and Planning:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for mobile games.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs, market trends, and business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions

Development Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the entire game development process, from concept and design to coding, testing, and launch.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality games.
  • Coordinate with UX/UI designers to create engaging and user-friendly game interfaces.

Operations and Maintenance:

  • Monitor game performance and user feedback to identify and address issues.
  • Plan and execute regular updates, feature enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of mobile games.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with marketing and user acquisition teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Work with analytics teams to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with customer support to resolve user issues and improve the overall gaming experience.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders to refine product features and strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners and vendors.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage product budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to product development and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in product management, with a focus on mobile game development and operations.
  • Have a good command of the Chinese language as need to converse and interact with the Chinese market in China, Hong Kong and Macao
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the lifecycle of mobile games.
  • Strong understanding of mobile game design, development, and monetization strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
