Work Location: Choa Chu Kang
Job Purpose:
You shall be responsible for family/individual counselling, group work, assessment and recommendations for financial assistance and case management. Conduct casework and manage case consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform casework, delivery intervention and care plan
- Develop and facilitate group work
- Engage and work with the community agencies
- Conduct family interview and financial assessment
- Manage crisis and ensure client safe organisation
- Conduct training to staff and stakeholders
- Participate in professional courses to acquire specialised knowledge and skills
- Perform administrative duties
Job Requirements:
- Degree and/ or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent from recognised universities.
- Must be registered with Singapore Association of Social Worker (SASW) Accreditation Board.
- Possess minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Possess experience working with persons with mild intellectual disabilities (MID).
- Patient, team player and able to co-create new content tailored for students/trainees with MID.
- Passionate, well organised, able to independently.
- Able to communicate with students, trainees, caregivers and associates of different culture/ backgrounds, preferably conversant in major local dialects (in order to provide consultation to local dialects speaking teachers, parents and students.)
