About Active Ageing Centres (AAC):
Our AAC serve as a key point of contact for seniors under our care, where we proactively reach out to them, organize social activities, and provide opportunities for interaction with the community. Our aim is to enable seniors to adopt an active lifestyle, pre-empt social isolation, and refer them to assistance in a timely fashion. We hope to improve the health outcomes of seniors living in the community through providing a suite of programs to help them live healthier lives and support their aspirations to age in place.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct members in the performance of strength conditioning exercises using machine, free and body weight.
- Perform pre-programme and post programme body composition and functionality assessments for members.
- Ensure the general safety and operability of gym equipment and hygiene.
- Plan the members’ appointment schedule and waiting list.
- Submit transaction records and reports in a timely manner.
- Plan and conduct wellness-related courses as required.
- Participate in roadshows and other marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Polytechnic Diploma or A Levels.
- Bilingual with good command of the English language, written and spoken, to handle English-speaking clients and programme interface/materials are mainly in English.
- American Council of Exercise (ACE) personal trainer certification or equivalent
- Fitness Trainer for Seniors or equivalent certification would be an advantage
- Adept at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Good Inter-Personal Communication Skills, Team Player
- Passion to work with Older Persons
