JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure the Interior Design works are carried out as per the contract and construction drawings, documents, specifications and design intent presented and approved by Client and in alignment with the sustainability strategies outlined in the particular specifications.
- Ensure that the Quality Checks (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for the Interior Design works are carried out as per the contract and construction drawings, specifications and design intent presented and approved by Client.
- Supervise, monitor and report on all building and interior design and MEP related works by all contractors including the main contractor and ID contractor’s work and all MEP subcontractors to ensure work methodology and workmanship are of satisfactory standards by witnessing all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions to make certain compliance to designs and specifications, including checking of the co-ordination of all trades and disciplines in order to achieve the design intent.
- A fiduciary responsibility to monitor and report that the project time and cost are kept to the terms stipulated in the construction contract, with special attention to ensuring that the management and project leaders of the Firm and Client and their principal appointed representatives are kept informed of any matters affecting the time and cost of the project
REQUIREMENT
- Possess a Degree in Architecture or accreditation with Professional Bodies of equivalent standing such as the Board of Architects (BOA).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant practical experience in full-time site supervision of Building works, architectural elements (including pre-casting) and finishing works for building construction sites in Singapore, preferably with hotel / resort (hospitality projects) experience is preferred
- Possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, being responsible, meticulous and a good team player.
- Conversant in all building statutory code and requirements.
- Conversant in BIM, Revit, CAD preferred.
- Familiar with BCA CONQUAS and Quality Marks assessment and Safety aspects in the construction industry.
- Comfortable and able to work on shift and on weekends.
- Good leadership and supervisory skills
