Responsibilities
- To provide finance leadership in tracking cash flow, planning and analysing project financial strengths and weaknesses and to propose strategic finance directions.
- Plan, assign, coordinate and manage work of finance staff responsible for budgeting, auditing, and accounting, locally and regionally.
- Coordinate the month-end closing process in conjunction with company guidelines.
- Oversee closing process and ensure that deadline for submission of financial statements is adhered to.
- Review monthly financial reports before submission.
- Review management reports before submission to management.
- Present accurate financial information monthly along with your analysis and explanation of material variances.
- Prepare forecast and budgets within company guidelines.
- Facilitate the annual financial statement external audit.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and work with finance staff to ensure a high performance.
- Review and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place locally and regionally for areas of responsibilities.
- Manage the professional development of all direct reports.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate Departments plans, policies, and procedures to achieve annual goals and work standards.
- Signs checks and approves payments.
Requirements
- Process recognized Finance Degree, Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation is a plus.
- More than 10 years of experience in managing financial budgets for multiple projects, preferable from engineering or construction industries.
- Demonstrate proactive, hands-on, and exhibit a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and strategic agility.
- Strong team leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and support direct reports.
