Job Scope
You are expected to conduct weekly group fitness exercise programmes independently, and to assist the fitness programme team lead in executing the overall fitness and health programmes plan.
You are also expected to carry out fitness assessment and improvement programmes, and develop new fitness and wellness programmes based on the needs of the community we serve.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct weekly group fitness exercise programmes for the elderly seniors at various programme sites
- Involve in developing and executing new fun and functional fitness programmes to meet the evolving need of the elderly community
- Involve in implementing fitness and health assessment tools such as fitness tests to raise the effectiveness and professionalism of fitness and health programmes
- Work with internal and external partners in community outreach projects as part of the organization’s work team.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:
- Possess a recognised Fitness Instructor Certification from a local or overseas fitness educational institution or sports association
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as fitness instructor
- Effectively bi-lingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
- Good understanding of the method of instructional group fitness exercise and community health and wellness.
- Proficient in basic computer skills including Window 10 OS and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
