Responsibilities
- Perform requirements gathering to translate user’s requirement into practical design objectives or specification
- Design and develop new system to support user’s requirement
- Work with software, hardware and mechanical team to assess requirement feasibilities, propose alternatives and present the solution to users
- Liaise with users, software, hardware and mechanical team to define design specifications and provide application support
- Review software, hardware and mechanical design architecture and technical documents for peripheral sub-systems
- Generate and maintain project documents including requirements, test plans, procedures and reports
- Perform system integration and testing
- Source and test various OEM components
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in the integration of hardware and software developed by various team members, allowing the development of solutions at the system level – advantage
- Lead team to implement new system to meet operation requirement, and subsequently to maintain and support the system – advantage
Requirements
- Relevant Engineering degree
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Team player
- Experience in large scale systems – advantage
- Experience in payload integration onto UAV Systems – advantage
