About Our Client
You will be joining our client's IT team serves as the focal point between business and technical teams, overseeing and managing the development of data analytics projects such as data platforms, data lakehouses, operational data stores, MDM hubs, and analytics. We also plan to develop additional data and analytics products in the future.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead project market research, strategy, conceptualization, feature envisioning, and implementation roadmap.
- Foster partnerships and collaboration with stakeholders, including business, architecture, and delivery teams, to shape project strategy, roadmaps, requirements, and solutions.
- Oversee the data product lifecycle from ideation to discontinuation, ensuring high standards of quality and performance through rigorous testing and validation.
- Handle project management tasks, including requirement analysis, solution design participation, planning, testing, and implementation.
- Work with data technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data platforms and technologies that meet business needs.
- Partner with the data governance team to develop and implement strategies that enhance data quality, protection, transparency, and accessibility.
- Manage procurement processes, including framework agreements, tender specification preparation, vendor evaluation and recommendation, and contract management.
- Oversee vendor management to ensure the successful delivery of products and services in accordance with contracts.
The Successful Applicant
Job requirements:
- Min. Degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics, or equivalent, with PMP or CITPM certification.
- At least 10 years in the IT industry, including 6 years in project management using the agile framework.
- Proven experience managing data product lifecycles, especially data lakes or warehouses in Azure cloud, and collaborating with senior stakeholders and data scientist teams.
- Strong knowledge of data and analytics technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
