Network Troubleshooting Specialist
Contract Duration: 1 Year (with the potential for extension)
Interview Process: One round of interviews with the Help Desk Lead.
Position Overview: We seek a Network Troubleshooting Specialist with a strong IT and network support background. The successful candidate will diagnose and resolve network-related issues and ensure seamless communication and connectivity across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment and software.
- Monitor network performance and security, and take appropriate actions to resolve any identified issues.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to support the infrastructure and provide excellent customer service.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to enhance the knowledge base and support future troubleshooting efforts.
- Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in network troubleshooting and IT support
- Open to freshers with a solid IT background
- Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to different sites as needed and work outside of standard hours when required.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
- Experience with VPNs, VLANs, and other network technologies.
