Responsibilities:
- Assist to direct and provide leadership for the design team;
- Manage all aspects of the design process, from research and ideation to creative conceptualisation and design;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to research and develop cohesive design, plans, concepts and prototypes;
- Produces tender drawings, working drawings and interior finishes specifications;
- Work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure final design output meet the needs of the organisation or customers;
- Conduct and coordinated Consultant’s Technical Meeting and Contractor Site Meetings;
- Initiate activities to be performed and provide on-the-job training to enhance the core competence of the team;
- Assist or to lead the orchestration and strategy of design presentations;
- To communicate and coordinate with Client and Client’s Representatives on design matters and requirements;
- To present and conveying design concept to clients in formal presentations;
- Review and approval of shop drawings and materials submitted by contractor;
- Ability to rally teams around the ideas put forth;
- Continually improve the quality of work, the manner in which it is delivered and the process employed to attain it;
- Effectively communicate and implement the key strategic initiatives and become an influential “Voice” of design;
- Work on multiple projects concurrently and deliver on expectations within tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 - 10 years relevant experience.
