We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Community Health Educator with a strong background in nursing and education to join our team.
This Senior Executive position holder will have expertise in nursing-related training and education, with a preference for those holding Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or similar certification. The Senior Executive will assist the Manager of Community Health Academy to manage the courses, develop curriculum and engage stakeholders in the healthcare sector. This role involves coordinating educational courses, developing training content, and ensuring that training programs meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Training Management
- Coordinate Courses: Organize and schedule training sessions to ensure they are accessible to all relevant staff in the healthcare industry or interested to join the healthcare industry. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure courses are run smoothly and as scheduled.
- Resource Management: Manage the resources required for training, including budgets, materials, and technology, ensuring efficient use and high-quality outcomes.
Training Design
- Develop Training Content: Create, review, and update training materials and courses to ensure they are current, relevant, and scientifically accurate. This includes multimedia presentations, written materials, and practical exercises.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the training programs and identify areas for improvement. This may include pre- and post-training assessments, feedback surveys, and skill competency evaluations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with healthcare professionals, departments, and external partners to align training objectives with organizational goals and healthcare standards.
- Quality Assurance: Regularly review and enhance training processes and materials based on feedback and outcomes to maintain a high standard of training delivery.
Requirements
- Strong nursing background, in both working experience and professional qualifications;
- Trained in Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or similar certification is preferred;
- Ability to adapt to changing healthcare industry requirements and standards and implement agile strategies;
- A team player who demonstrates the ability to liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders;
- Able to plan, prioritise and organise own work independently to achieve good agreed results, and at times, under pressure;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Good time management and organisational skills with ability to multitask, prioritise and solve problems.
