Job Functions:
- Handle tender administration
- Source and prepare all information and documentation related to tender submissions, for participation in tender exercise
- Prepare bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, and measuring
- Obtains, compiles, and evaluates quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers according to tender requirements, and follows up on timely submission of quotations
- Handle contract administration
- Source and negotiate for sub-contractors and supplier terms and fees in compliance with requirements and time schedule
- Carry out procurement functions in an ethical manner
- Assist in administration of Extension of Time claim
- Prepare Letter of Award and work orders
- Prepare interim progress claims, Variation Orders, and final account with clients
- Certify interim progress claims and final accounts for payment to sub-contractors
Job Specifications:
- Min qualification: Diploma in Quantity Surveying or construction-related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Good contractual knowledge and administration
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Good organisation skills, and able to multi-task
- Good written communication skills in English
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, and under pressure, to meet deadlines
- Able to coordinate/communicate with project team
