Job Description
- Assist in new material and process development.
- Perform chemical analysis for product release and testing projects.
- Ensure testing adheres to procedures.
- Identify and isolate unusual contamination sources.
- Develop test method validation protocols for microbiological control processes.
- Ensure documented sterilization procedures are available and monitor sterilization facilities.
- Train new lab staff and assess training effectiveness.
- Supervise junior technicians, including troubleshooting equipment.
- Manage lab consumables purchase, inventory, and expenditure.
- Investigate microbiological, environmental, and chemical analysis failures.
- Conduct or review internal calibration and maintain calibration records.
- Verify tagging and certificate of analysis for product release.
- Review test results from QA technicians.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
- Verify chemical mixing processes comply with procedures.
- Perform other tasks assigned by superiors.
