Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for construction hazards.
• Organize safety training programs to educate workers on safe practices.
• Conduct routine site inspections to identify and rectify safety violations promptly.
• Maintain and ensure availability of safety equipment and protective gear.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, reporting to relevant authorities.
• Recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire safety, first aid, and evacuations.
• Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports and training records.
• Promote a safety culture among workers and contractors.
• Conduct regular safety meetings to discuss issues and share best practices.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
• Maintain communication with management, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Perform safety audits to evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety-related reports and records.
Qualifications & Experience:
Registered as WSHO with MOM
More than 1-2 years of experience
