What will I be doing?

As Cluster Commercial Manger, you are responsible for working closely with the Cluster Commercial Director to primarily drive the business needs and expand existing business for all revenue streams through revenue optimization. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Responsible to the Cluster Commercial Director for the leadership and support in commercial success in Sales, Groups Meetings and Events, Marketing, Revenue Management and Reservations.

· Support Cluster Commercial Director with preparing annual budget, monthly forecast and action plans to support business needs and opportunities in the cluster.

· Participate in developing and implementing strategies by revenue stream working closely with the respective department heads.

· Analyse pace of business for short and long term and share that with the relevant department heads on a weekly/monthly basis, implement tactical actions.

· Conduct competitive and demand analysis and identify selling strategies and market trends.

· Assist Cluster Commercial Director in setting clear objectives for the Business Development team with regards to market share, segment share, growth projections and need periods.

· Setup, with support of the department heads, processes to quantify/validate all actions and initiatives.

· Track and share the performance of commercial activities to achieve revenue targets.

· Actively involved in all commercial meetings.

· Create & evaluate improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes, subsequently implementing those changes with the support of the leadership team.

· Assist in developing and monitoring marketing strategies, including digital and ecommerce activations ensuring their effective implementation and tracking results.

· Manage stakeholder relationships including third party vendors in distribution, marketing and RFP resources

· Management of relationship with OTA’s (including Expedia, Booking.com, CAST, C-trip) to maximise commercial performance and rankings.

· Managing relationships with MECC, analysis & evaluation of digital marketing spend to maximise performance through owned and direct digital channels

· Ensure commercial management techniques of availability control are applied to achieve a maximisation of Food & Beverage sales and revenue for the hotel.

· Develop future F&B strategies for presentation at the weekly F&B business focus and Monthly Commercial Focus meetings.

· Support the commercial team in achievement of hotel’s key performance indicators that include but not limited to hotel's revenue contribution, profitability, guest satisfaction, team members’ satisfaction and loyalty contribution.

· Experience in a similar role with a proven track record

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

· Knowledge of local market

· Experience in Revenue Management

· Knowledge of hospitality

· Passion for driving revenue and sales and for achieving targets and objectives

· Degree-level qualification in a relevant field would be additionally advantageous
