Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Managing SSO admin access in OpenShift for DevOps environment
- Configure IAC (Infrastructure as Code)/Terraform to create AWS instances
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using OpenShift, including handling builds, deployments, and rollbacks.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.
- Create logical Volumes and increased the file system in Linux server
- Manage disk quotas and applying RHEL Hardening Standards
- VCS cluster management and DR drill activity
- Implement security best practices for containerized applications and the OpenShift platform, including network policies, access controls, and vulnerability management.
- Set up monitoring and logging for the platform and applications, diagnose and resolve issues related to performance, security, and reliability.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes administration.
- Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD).
- Knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience in In Place upgrade Linux / Wintel servers.
- Experience in raising Change request and plan the change activity as per application team request.
- Experience in CI/ CD pipeline operation issues in DevOps Environment.
- Experience in application setup as per infra-activity.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and computing AMI virtual machines on Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in system administration or DevOps, with specific experience in container orchestration and OpenShift.
- Certifications preferred: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration /Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
