Job Description :
Quality Management System (QMS) & QA/QC Roles:
- Developing & implementing quality management systems for API and/or ISO 9001: 2015.
- Organizing internal/external audit on QMS standards (such as ISO9001 and/or API)
- Conduct supplier assessment/qualification audits.
- Maintain management system documents and product conformance records.
- Manage customer & internal NC, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Monitoring, analysing & maintaining the Quality objectives according to corporate policies and goals
- Develop and execution of continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste, improve product quality and optimize productivity and cycle time.
- Support incoming & final inspection.
- Knowledge in bizSafe level 3 will be bonus.
Support Production / Manufacturing Roles:
- Perform/witness verification activities in the production process and keep proper records.
- Develop and document necessary manuals, procedures, inspection, testing process and work instruction relating to QA/QC activities and control.
- Perform planned maintenance & calibration of QA/QC equipment to ensure accurate and optimal performance.
- Ensure that the procedures and processes prescribed by the QMS are in place and implemented per requirement.
- Development and execution of process control plans/ITPs as required by production/project requirements.
- Liaise with and attend to customer or third-party inspectors on production verification activities.
- Collect, compile and maintain production verification records.
- Any other ad-hoc QA/QC tasks as assigned.
Education / Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
- Advanced / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
- Certified ISO 9001:2015 / API internal auditor
Skills / Knowledge / Experience Required :
- Minimum 3 years of QAQC or Process Engineering experience in equipment manufacturing, or box build assembly in semiconductor and/or electronic contract manufacturing (CM) services environment.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in the QMS for Oil & Gas, Semiconductor industry.
- Experience and knowledge of API Q1 and API 7K will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of product/equipment assembly processes and mechanical drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of in 5S, FMEA, Process Control Plan, Process Checklist
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Dynamic, self-driven and a team-player.
- Able to work independently.
