Role Overview:
As an OutSystems Support Analyst, you will be responsible for both developing and maintaining custom applications built on the OutSystems platform. Your role will encompass the entire application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and support. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure the applications meet client requirements and maintain high performance and usability.
Responsibilities:
Application Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy OutSystems applications to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to deliver applications on time and within budget.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure applications are error-free.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Utilize OutSystems Forge components and follow integration patterns.
Support and Maintenance:
- Work closely with development teams during the transition phase from development to production.
- Monitor and maintain existing OutSystems applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Provide technical support to end-users to ensure applications function as expected.
Client Interaction and Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and design solutions using OutSystems.
- Provide estimates for development efforts and project timelines.
Mobile and Web Solutions:
- Develop solutions that span both mobile and web platforms using OutSystems.
- Ensure seamless integration between mobile and web components.
- Optimize applications for responsive design and cross-device compatibility.
Qualifications:
OutSystems Proficiency:
- Beginner to strong experience in OutSystems development, including creating modules, screens, and logic flows.
- Familiarity with OutSystems Forge components and integration patterns.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug OutSystems applications effectively.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of mobile and web application development principles.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Additional Skills:
- Beginner proficiency in Build Management, Configuration & Release Management, and Design & Build Enablement is advantageous.
