Job Description
- Review RFQ / orders received.
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products/services.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production/service demand.
- Assign workers to multiple production/service operations.
- Schedule overtime according to production/service needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Issue routing forms & certifications.
- Keep paperwork organized.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, warehouse and other staff.
- Able to develop basic training materials & conduct training.
Qualifications
- Min. diploma in related field.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Min. 2 years experienced as production planner.
- Has knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Good understanding of Bill of materials (BOM)
- Preferably experience in Quality Management System (QMS) related to ISO9001 and/or API is advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate), Word and ERP systems.
- Hands-on & willing to learn new skills.
- Good at math and statistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication abilities.
- Experience in Semi-con, Electronics Contract Manufacturing and/or Oil & Gas Industry are welcome.
