This role is part of the R&D Team that will be working on the Design and Simulation of MEMS Microphone product. The incumbent must have strong technical analysis aptitue, as well as good knowledge in using widely available design/simulation softwares.
Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate MEMS devices and systems using software such as ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, etc
- Develop and maintain detailed design models and simulations of MEMS devices
- Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to optimize MEMS products
- Analyze and optimize performance such as thermal, mechanical, and electrical properties
- Execute test plans to validate device performance as well as to troubleshoot and debug design issues
- Communicate results and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in MEMS technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Any experience in MEMS design and simulation will be highly preferred
- Proficiency in design and simulation software
- Strong understanding of MEMS technology, including mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Able to communicate effectively with our vendors and stakeholders in China using Chinese (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
