Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Rope Access Technician (Level 3) to perform complex tasks at height, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading rope access projects, conducting inspections, maintenance, and installations in challenging environments within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access work to carry out inspections, maintenance, and installations on various construction sites.
- Lead and supervise a team of rope access technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements for rope access operations.
- Conduct regular safety checks and equipment inspections to ensure all gear is in good working condition.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to plan and execute rope access tasks efficiently.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on rope access techniques and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspection reports and maintenance logs.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide rescue services when necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- IRATA Level 3 certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rope access work, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of rope access techniques, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights for extended periods.
- Valid certifications in first aid and rescue techniques are preferred.
