Facilities Engineering Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Facilities Engineering Assistant to oversee our facilities maintenance and lead a team. As a Facilities Executive, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our building, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and visitors.

Primary Objectives of the Position:

You will be responsible for the maintenance of our facilities and lead a team of cleaners and facilities technicians. Your proactive approach will ensure that all projects and maintenance activities within our premises are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine building and facilities maintenance, with a focus on building air conditioning servicing.
2. Lead and manage a team of cleaners and facilities technicians, overseeing service requests, cleaning operations, and worker duty schedules.
3. Conduct regular site inspections.
4. Ensure prompt execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
5. Handle ad-hoc repair and maintenance tasks, including ordering of parts.
6. Maintain and manage Engineering inventory, ensuring an adequate supply of necessary materials.
7. Take charge of preventive and breakdown maintenance for various facilities and equipment, collaborating with vendors for specialized systems.
8. Collaborate closely with specialists and technicians to ensure seamless daily operations.
9. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing facilities and equipment.

Required Skills:

• Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in facilities management.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in building aircon maintenance and electrical works.
• Effective communication skills and a strong team player.
• Willing to work after office hours on weekdays and weekends as needed.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report maintenance activities and provide updates to the Engineering Manager.

• Frequent Shuttle bus schedule from/to Lakeside MRT and Buroh Lane
• Working days is from Monday - Friday, 8:30pm - 5:30pm
