Our client, a thriving European trading firm with diverse industry partnerships, seeks a skilled IT System Support Engineer. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise (in business user support, digital transformation and IT security) and business acumen to support their operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT infrastructure, including hardware setup, software installation, user provisioning, and ongoing support. This encompasses a wide range of tasks, from new user onboarding and workstation setup to system maintenance, troubleshooting, and security updates. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities for digital transformation and process optimization, while ensuring adherence to IT policies and governance standards. You will partner closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective IT solutions.
Your Profile
We seek a motivated individual with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 support and administration, IT system integration, digital transformation and information security. Solid understanding of hybrid Microsoft 365 environment, ideally backed by relevant certifications: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate.
You must demonstrate proficiency in network fundamentals, troubleshooting, and effective communication. A keen eye for data security and compliance, coupled with a passion for learning new technologies, is crucial for this role.
