Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Senior Vice President of Project Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled PMO Lead with a strong management consulting background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise programs and be adept at working with senior leadership, including C-Suite executives. This role requires excellent communication skills, particularly in creating compelling presentations and managing diverse, geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Lead and manage large-scale enterprise programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Oversee a program team of approximately 50 members, spread across different geographies and time zones.
    • Ensure successful onboarding and offboarding of resources.
  • Communication & Presentation:
    • Develop high-quality presentations (PPT) that effectively communicate program status, issues, and solutions to senior leadership.
    • Articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and concisely to C-Suite executives.
  • Collaboration & Tools:
    • Utilize collaboration tools and office productivity tools to enhance team efficiency and communication.
    • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creative and analytical problem-solving.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with senior leadership to understand program objectives and deliverables.
    • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Process Management:
    • Implement and manage effective processes for onboarding and offboarding resources.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Sector Experience:
    • Leverage experience in the financial and banking sectors to drive program success.
    • Apply knowledge of development and integration projects to inform program management practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program management.
    • Advocate for continuous improvement and innovation within the PMO.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
    • Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise programs.
    • Proven track record of working with senior leadership (C-Suite).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Slack) and office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace).
    • Strong capability in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Sector Experience:
    • Experience in the financial and banking sector is highly advantageous.
    • Experience with development and integration projects is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High energy and the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Management consulting background.
    • Experience managing programs with teams spread across different geographies and time zones.
