Job Description:
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Childcare / Child Minders to join our team on a part-time basis. If you love working with children and wish to make a positive impact on their early years, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children, always supervising them and using appropriate monitoring devices if needed.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare balanced meals and snacks, taking into account dietary restrictions and allergies.
- Hygiene Management: Help children maintain good hygiene practices, including changing diapers for infants and toddlers.
- Educational Activities: Organize fun and educational activities to stimulate children's learning and curiosity.
- Routine Development: Create schedules and routines to ensure children have a balanced day of physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Emotional and Developmental Monitoring: Observe and report any emotional or developmental issues to parents, maintaining open communication.
- Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.
- Skill Sharing: Share your unique skills in academics, sports, music, arts, and other areas to enrich the children's experiences.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in childcare or babysitting.
- Passion: A genuine love for working with children and a strong commitment to their development.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and multitask efficiently.
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain. Medical fitness to work with infants.
- Personal Qualities: Patience, flexibility, and understanding.
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background check.
