RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compensation matters:
- Work with the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team members to manage the various workstreams of the Faculty Compensation Structure.
- Provide support for Annual Increment and Performance Bonus (AIPB) exercises.
- Work with the various functional partners to ensure that change management processes including, but not limited to, the update of policy documents, communication materials and FAQs are effectively followed through.
- Track progress of, and take follow-up actions on, the various C&B workstreams.
- Conduct Job Evaluation of existing and new job roles.
- Assist in submitting management reports on compensation and benefits matters.
- Manage and administer benchmarking exercises and surveys.
- Benefits matters:
- Review the adequacy of Faculty benefits programmes.
- Carry out ad-hoc Faculty surveys with related organisations to review and propose appropriate fine-tuning to ensure relevance and alignment with best practices.
- Develop communication materials and FAQs to ensure consistent practices across Schools.
- Compensation & Benefits Policies:
- Handle the updating of the various Compensation and Benefits policies.
- Manage the upkeep of compensation and benefit policy documents in the HR portal.
- Compensation & Benefits Systems
- Work with HRIS on User Acceptance Tests and other related tasks as part of the new HR Systems roll-out.
- Any other duties/ projects as may be assigned.
- Degree with at least 5 to 8 years of HR-related work experience, particularly in the area of Compensation & Benefits and preferably in a university set-up and/or in medium to large organizations.
- Experience in managing salary reviews, performance bonuses, and promotions in medium to large organizations.
- Good knowledge of, and strong experience in SAP HR/C&B Module. Familiarity with SuccessFactors HR/ Compensation modules would be an added advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is an important pre-requisite.
- Experience in Korn Ferry Job Evaluation methodology would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability and good communications (written and oral) skills.
- Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
