Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) in terms of inspection.
- Publish daily performance report of new product built to customer.
- FAI report during and NPI built.
- Interface with customers on product quality issues.
- Interface with manufacturing personnel to drive for continual improvement in product quality.
- Has the authority to stop production if deemed necessary when the product or process does not conform to requirement.
- Monitor customer returns and work on improvement actions.
- Perform manufacturing process / ESD audits on the manufacturing line.
- Engage actively in 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits.
- Formulate, implement and monitor quality assurance standards and procedures to achieve.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the manufacturing environment or in related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ESD control or in the related field preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing in PCBA environment or in related field, and application of associated IPC standards preferred.
- Knowledge in Quality tools (e.g. Cause & Effect Analysis, 5-Why, 8D report, SPC, Process Capability Study, etc) and Risk Management tools (e.g. FMEA, ROA, etc) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in performing internal audits for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, MDSAP, JPAL MHLW, BCMS and RBA preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, Words and PowerPoint) and Google Looker Studio.
