As an IT Project Manager at Royal Ocean Marine client, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects within our organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and according to requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against these parameters.
Coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of outsourced services and products.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements
Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
At least 5 years of managerial (meaning having direct reports) OR people management experience or project leadership experience (functional leadership)
Minimum 5 years of experience in solution design and agile project management in complex, multi-site environments.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is required.
Demonstrated experience in delivering IT transformation projects, achieving financial and operational improvements, and implementing change strategies.
Familiarity with IT applications and systems including Business Intelligence Tools in maritime sector.
Strong understanding of business processes
Solid technical and functional knowledge of application architecture best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
