- Formulate and implement EHS programs
- Review and prepare risk assessment for all identified project works
- Advise on the safe method of works to mitigate or minimise work risk
- Ensure the compliance with mandatory permit-to-work for hazardous works
- Conduct EHS training and promotion
- Act as the secretary to the WSH Committee and advise the project manager on safety and health management
- Conduct investigation on near miss, incident and accident
- Conduct subcontractor EHS evaluation.
- Organise and conduct WSH Audit and Inspection
- Advise on the establish of maintenance regime for machinery, equipment and tool
- Advise the transport, control and use of hazardous substances and perform evaluation of hazardous substances SDS
- Identify emergency scenario from risk assessment report, establish emergency procedure and conduct drill to train employees to respond to different arising emergencies
- Organise and conduct EHS management review and formulate of EHS plan.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification of HIGHER NITEC or Diploma
- Passed Workplace Safety and Health and Environmental Control Officer Course and Registered with MOM and NEA respectively.
- Good communication skills and team understanding
- Added advantage for candidate with 3 years of WSH Officer post registration experience to the scope of works.
- Able to work independently, competent and able to multi-task
