- Manages and directs staff of accountants and analysts to conduct all routine procedures and duties associated with the plant controller
- organization.
- Provides advice and counsel to plant operations management to ensure the optimum performance of the plant. Interprets financial data collection to influence management toward decisions consistent with company objectives.
- Set up and monitor systems of internal control consistent with direction provided by the Division controller and Manager of Tax & Treasury.
- Monitors plant credits and collections. Supervises plant cash management including collections and forecasting balances over time.
- Prepares financial projections and company status reports to divisional and corporate management as required. Coordinates discussions withDivision management on financial matters.
- Identifies and implements programs that control the corporation's financial risk, including implementation of programs established by theDivision Controller and Tax & Treasury Manager.
- Develops and implements systems to control the manufacturing operation costs and maintain systems to monitor product lines and customer profitability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS office applications.
- Competent financial capabilities.
- Hands-on with strong analytical skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing industry or a related field is preferred.
