OTC Derivative Sales

Marex Spectron Asia Pte. Ltd.

A professional responsible for OTC Foreign Exchange risk management products (both vanilla and structured) sales, with a focus on SME and mid-cap corporate clients. Key focus also on supporting the broader FX and Commodities regional sales business.

  • You will be responsible for the sales of the OTC Foreign Exchange risk management products (both vanilla and structured) with a focus on SME and mid-cap corporate clients.
  • You will have a key focus on also supporting the broader FX and Commodities sales business for Australia and NZ.
  • Your primary mandate will be FX risk management, but we will be strongly developing your Cross-asset skills – so that you are able to cross-sell into OTC Commodities & Crypto product set effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
  • At all times complying with the Marex’s Code of Conduct
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
  • To escalate risk events immediately
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Competencies

  • Good knowledge of financial derivatives (futures, swaps, options).
  • A proven track record of executing Foreign Exchange business with corporate clients.
  • Ability to attract and manage your own direct client base and contribute to building out of Marex’s FX business.
  • Strong risk and compliance ethic with ability to conduct business within Company’s policies & procedures and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Strategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness.


Skills and Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to work in teams and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
