Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Receiving and Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee all aspects of receiving goods and controlling inventory levels within the Resort. The incumbent will be responsible for the receiving process, ensuring accuracy in our inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving all goods and supplies. In performing this role, the Supervisor will ensure the quality of the goods received and accuracy in the quality. The incumbent will oversee the unloading, checking, and storage of goods, ensuring that they are handled and stored properly to maintain quality.
- The Supervisor will inspect goods upon arrival to ensure they meet the desired quality requirements and handle any issues related to damaged or incorrect deliveries.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Cultivate a strong people culture by investing in the coaching and development of associates. The incumbent will take ownership of people-management matters for the department including recruiting, upskilling and mentoring associates.
Job Requirements
- Solid track record of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry. Pre-opening experience would be useful.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self-motivation to complete projects.
