Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy desktop applications and libraries for front-to-back trading using C# WPF and .NET.
- Develop and maintain systems for strong application performance focusing on maximal uptime to support mission-critical production systems.
- Work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers to translate business requirements into high-performance trading applications.
- Utilize agile development practices to deliver high-quality software solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Provide ongoing production support, maintenance, and performance enhancements for existing systems, ensuring seamless operation of trading activities.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance our technology stack.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in .NET and WPF development.
- Strong understanding of C# desktop development within the financial industry.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and implement them efficiently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high and mid-level architecture documentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that embraces the latest technologies and methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Keen awareness of emerging technologies and industry standards, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
