We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the efficient management of our logistics processes. You will oversee inventory, order processing, shipment coordination, and various administrative tasks.
Work Time Profile
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm
Job Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with procurement for reordering supplies
Order Processing:
- Process and track orders from receipt to delivery
- Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists and shipping labels
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Assist in the planning of inbound containers, invoicing and manpower planning
- Work with the relevant authority to seek permit clearance for the containers
- Service existing customers who have rented pallet spaces within our cold room. Update vacancies and handle inbound enquiries towards the rental of space
Logistics Coordination:
- Arrange and coordinate transportation and logistics for shipments
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies
- To be able to work on software and track the last-mile delivery performance
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain and update records related to inventory, shipments, and cold room activities
- Generate and analyse reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, related to logistics and warehouse functions.
Customer Service:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding logistics and cold room rentals
- Provide timely updates to customers on order status and delivery schedules.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Provide administrative support to warehouse personnel as needed
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse (cold room) related roles
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in coldroom environment is preferred
