Inspection Group Leader (Oil Gas / Manufacturing / CMM)

Job Description:

Inspection Technician is responsible for the proper exercise of QHSE Policy and Procedures required and conduct daily parts inspection and calibration of gauges/instruments in line with specifications, standards, and procedures in a timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• QHSE Responsibility: Comply with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) policies and Standards; Comply with government laws and regulations on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment; Commit to QHSE target year by year with his specific OHSE responsibility on site.
• Applying 5S+2 in QC work area environment.
• Accountable for adhering to company policies, standards, procedures, and work instructions within area of activity.
• Ensure that inspection and test equipment/tooling and gauges are functional for the product inspection and test.
• Assist in selection, design and procuring inspection and test equipment/tooling and gauges needed to ensure products conform to specifications.
• Monitor gauges, instruments and inspection equipment/tooling recalibration requirements and recall at appropriate time to ensure all are calibrated and maintained to an applicable standard.
• Maintain inventory of gauges and instruments needed to support production operations.
• Performing part inspection based on required part specifications with acceptable quality plan and sampling.
• Ensure the incoming inspection report for each batch of incoming parts is keyed into equality system and follow through till parts are received into Store.
• Basic quality data analysis under QC engineer's instruction.
• As a data collector to responsible for related process data collection.
• CMM Programming and Operation.
• Perform various other duties assigned by quality control supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Metal Machining or equivalent with 8 to 10 years of experience and in a lead role
• QC inspection experience from a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work two/three rotating shifts.
• CMM Programming and Operation.
