Responsibilities:
1 Technical Management
- Manage all requirements with Operations to ensure that the Company’s premises meet the Landlord’s, Licensing and/or Regulatory requirements
- Plan and develop inspection procedure and checklist for Operations to implement or conduct on repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, civil, sanitary and plumbing matters
- Manage with Operations on minor A&A works and M&E related repair and replacement works
- Recommend best practices in facility maintenance to Operations to implement so as to achieve a safer and energy-saving working environment
- Be part of the Project Committee to provide competent assistance in areas of Facilities Management to the Project Management Department on new project or tender
2 Fire Safety Management
- Assume full Fire Safety Manager (FSM) roles as per SCDF requirements at assigned premises
- Review and improve the fire safety procedures and features for the assigned premises and other Company’s premises
- Provide guidance to site operations on supervision of maintenance of all fire safety works and equipment and fittings in the premises
- Plan, develop and conduct fire safety inspection to ensure fire safety and remove any fire hazard or cause of fire hazard that is found at the assigned premises and other company’s premises
3 Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)
- Conduct and/or participate in WSH Committee Meetings that collate suggestions, inspection reports (on hazards identification) and other safety and health information
- Conduct WSH compliance inspections and documentation on all work activities
- Plan and implement WSH Management System (WSHMS) and Risk Management (RM) plans
- Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and procedure implementation
4. Perform any other duties assigned by the Management
Requirements:
- Degree in with Building/Facilities Management/Building Services/Engineering or related field
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience (minimum 5 years in managerial role)
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Good computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good organizational and leadership skills and meticulous
- Meticulous and able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
- A certified Fire Safety Manager
