Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
• Plan and coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely operations (shipments clearance and delivery) execution.
• Plan and monitor day-to-day manpower schedule.
• Supervising job functions and warehouse employees.
• Delegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the warehouse employees.
• Managing the inventory monitoring cycle counts and conducting audits of same to validate results.
• Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
• Coordination and rotation of stock to allocate space.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
• Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices, including new employee inductions and toolbox talks.
• Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training experience as needed. Conduct disciplinary action as needed. Recommend dismissal of employees.
• Supervise the cleaning of the warehouse including waste disposal of packaging materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications Summary
Experience:
• Min 5 years’ experience in logistics or warehousing operations with 2 years supervisory role.
• Able to communicate with customers,
• Experience in handling a team of more than 10 employees.
Education:
• Minimum Qualification: GCE O/A

• Proficient in WMS and Microsoft Office Applications

• Good time management and a fast learner
• Ability to speak and read English to liaise with associates.
