Job Summary:
The head of Product Management will lead and oversee the entire product management function, ensuring successful delivery and continuous improvement of our product portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and driving product innovation to meet the company’s goal and customer needs.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
- Lead the product management team, providing direction and mentorship.
- Identify market opportunities and define product vision, goals and roadmaps.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the product team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Present product plans and progress to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and gather feedback to guide product improvements.
- Analyze product performance data and make data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings.
- Perform market potential analysis and competitor analysis.
- Propose and implement product strategy to meet company's growth and revenue plan.
- Implement processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of product management practices.
- Other duties or projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or its equivalent.
- More than 10 years’ experience in automotive electronics industry, preferably with product management or product marketing experience.
- Product management/marking experience in automotive industry, preferably with Indian customers.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and user-centred design principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret date and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback mechanisms.
- Good communication in English. Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
- Proactive, extrovert personality, team player & goal focus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a structured environment.
- Willingness to travel within Asia, especially India and China.
