Job Scope:
BIM Manager
- Establish BIM standards, protocols, and workflows tailored to project needs, ensuring compliance with LTA requirements and best practices.
- Create and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), outlining BIM goals, processes, and responsibilities.
- Facilitate collaboration among disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure integrated and coordinated design and construction models.
- Act as the primary BIM contact, engaging with all stakeholders, and resolving conflicts within BIM models to prevent construction issues.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of BIM models, conduct regular audits, provide technical support, and manage BIM software and tools.
- Monitor BIM implementation progress, generate reports, allocate resources, seek process improvements, and ensure BIM models support sustainable design and post-construction maintenance.
BIM Coordinator
- Manage and coordinate the production of quality BIM models and construction documents with minimal supervision.
- Deliver a fully coordinated federated model in agreed formats.
- Assist the BIM Manager in implementing and updating BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure BIM models have correct parameters and attributes for quantification and 4D simulation.
- Collaborate with the team and relevant departments to ensure drawings meet design requirements and coordinate with consultants, SWCs, and subcontractors.
- Use BIM for coordination, sequencing, constructability, and as-built reviews, perform clash checks, and conduct quality control before releasing BIM models.
