Job Summary:

The Service Delivery Manager will lead and manage the transition of IT services, processes, and projects, ensuring a smooth and efficient changeover with minimal disruption to operations.

The role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including client project teams, and senior management, to deliver successful transitions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive transition plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the execution of transition plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with clients, project teams, and senior management to understand transition requirements and objectives.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the transition process.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet transition objectives.
  • Develop and implement change management plans to support smooth transitions.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are prepared for and can adapt to changes.
  • Monitor the performance of transitions against defined success criteria.
  • Obtain the sign off from client after transition is completed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing IT service transitions / IT Delivery manager / Service Delivery Manager or similar projects is Mandatory.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience working with government projects would be a plus
