What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and implementation of the IS Strategy, ensuring its consistency with global initiatives and the division's business goals.
- Chair the Technical Community, fostering collaboration among IT leaders to define and execute the division's technical roadmap. Identify emerging technology trends and conduct market research to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee project planning and execution, establishing clear success criteria, managing risks, and ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations to drive project success and knowledge sharing.
What Will Make You Shine
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years in IT with a proven track record in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, specifically within banking and financial services, risk management, and software engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical design from inception to proof of concept.
- Strong knowledge of strategic IT solutions complemented by hands-on software development experience.
- Expertise in modern programming languages (Python, Java, Rust, Go) and a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
- Experience in defining platforms or products, including operating model and change management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect code, understand execution flow, and effectively debug.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, MLOps, and associated tooling.
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle and financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD).
- Exposure to front-office and back-office systems within Capital Markets.
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
- Understanding of the business context and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
