Position Overview:The Finance Director at BEC Lab will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our financial health. This role involves strategic financial planning, comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with BEC Lab’s long-term objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and the board to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure reports meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and financial forecasting. Monitor and analyze performance against budgets and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and monitor key financial metrics.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of finance staff.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with these entities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.
