Job Description
This is a full time role for a Motion Control Engineer located in North Bridge Road.Our client is the global manufacturer & leading supplier and your responsibilities involve developing and designing automation solutions using PLC, robot, and motion technologies. You create purchase lists for electrical devices needed in automation control systems. You also work on projects aimed at reducing cycle time and enhancing product quantity. Monitoring and improving PLC programs to ensure smooth operations with minimal errors is a key part of your job. Additionally, you program PLCs to control vision systems, robots, AGVs, and servo systems. Collecting execution timing data, building timing charts, and analyzing cycle time are also part of your responsibilities. You coordinate internally with various departments and HQ/subsidiaries to resolve technical issues and provide solutions to customers. Moreover, you liaise with suppliers and customers from China.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Motion Control, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in motion control (actuators, robots, linear motors).
- Candidates with experience in projects related to Semiconductors, Displays, and Secondary batteries are preferred
