Core tasks:
• Development and testing Swisslog Warehouse Management system and application software.
• Participate in commissioning and testing of the Swisslog Warehouse Management system at various sites.
• Assist to develop design specification, test plan and release note which including in setup, configuration and rules.
• Fully document all requirements definition, design, implementation and testing to the required standards.
• Develop/ Create design specification according to requirement specification.
• Adhere to the appropriate design strategies and development methodologies, as defined by the SW PM and Company quality procedures
• Communicate with customers to understand operational working practices and requirements.
• Ensure that the project is implemented successfully within schedule
• Ensuring quality of work through QA and thorough testing.
Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a commercial, real time software development environment using Java programming language.
• Proven track record in at least three of the following:
• Working experience in JEE, EJB 3.0, JSF, JPA, SOAP XML, SQL Server, Oracle
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Strong hands on development skills and problem solving skills.
• An active team player and customer focus.
• Prior work experience in Warehousing / ERP is required
